Mary Keller - Owner/Operator
Mary has owned Charleston Pet Resort
since 1994. Before buying CPR, Mary showed Malamutes, bred
Lhasa Apsos and owned a small kennel. Her favorite part of
owning CPR is the pets and the love they give. Mary enjoys
meeting new clients and loving the old.
She is
constantly looking for ways to improve CPR by continuing her
own education at regional and national ABKA seminars,
attending additional seminars on a number of related pet and
business topics, touring other facilities and paying keen
attention to customer service at other businesses. When Mary can
find a spare moment she enjoys scrap booking and dreaming
about the show poodle she would one day like to have. In the
meantime she takes pleasure in the love she receives from
Katie her toy poodle, Pesha her standard poodle, Casey her
rescued beagle, and Apollo her Malamute. |

Elaine
“Grandma” Keller
Elaine has
been with CPR for 12 years. She is a certified Pet Care
Technician through the ABKA and is responsible for our Cattery
as well a tucking everyone in at night and our very popular
TLC and Senior packages. Grandma lives on-site with her rescue
dogs, Lassie, 17 years old and 1 year old Stevie, a lab mix
that was found nearly dead at the flea market. Elaine bottle
fed Stevie and his three siblings round the clock and with
lots of love and patience all the puppies made it. In her
spare time, Elaine enjoys sewing, gardening and watching
Animal Planet. |

Crystal
Maples
Crystal has worked for CPR since 1994. She
started in the kennels and worked her way up to grooming.
Crystal’s grooming experience starts at the age of 10 for
Junior Showmanship. Participants are required to groom their
own dogs for show. Her favorite dogs to groom are Schnauzers, Springers, and Bichons because she feels she does an excellent
job and as a breed they require an interesting cut. Crystal
attended the International Academy of Pet Design and is a
member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America. In
her spare time, Crystal enjoys dancing, swimming and creative
memories (scrap booking.) Her future plans include receiving
her business
degree in the summer of 2006, marriage and family. She hopes to some day become
president of Charleston Pet Resort and to open a no kill
shelter. |
